Public Policy & Advocacy

We are the leading non-profit mental health advocacy organization in Colorado. The Public Policy and Advocacy department seeks cooperation with policy makers to not only protect those living with mental illness, but to also advocate for equitable, accessible, and competent mental health care which is on par with any other health condition.
To accomplish this we:
  • Look beyond healthcare systems and include criminal justice, housing, transportation, education, and other community based systems to ensure our constituents have access to all the necessary resources that enhance their quality of life
  • We build partnerships which bring together diverse organizations to speak with one voice to the Colorado legislature to create systematic change
