Story of the Geese

If you’ve attended the Leadership Academy in the past you know all about the goose story! Here’s the abbreviated explanation: 

Geese fly in a “V” formation when migrating. As each goose flaps its wings, it creates an “uplift” for the birds following. By flying in a “V” formation the whole flock travels 70 percent farther than if each bird flew alone.

Like the geese, people who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are traveling on the thrust of one another. If we, as members of The Network, we work together to achieve our goals we will do so more efficiently and with greater strength then if we all tried on our own. It’s just another reminder of how The Network can be the strong consumer voice in Colorado if we all work together.
