Check Your Head is already having a RAGING semester! Our crew is having a blast kickn’ it with the Montebello kids three times a week. We are also eagerly anticipating the 6 week program at East High School that starts next month!!!!! It’s going to be straight-up BALLA! There are going to be tight events coming up and we will continuously keep you posted.

If you are an East Student join Check Your Heads ADVOCACY club! If you are into poetry, spoken words, acting, singing, music, dancing, writing, promoting, FILM, social change, and impacting our community in a positive way this club is SCREAMING YOUR NAME!!! We are going to discuss issues that matter to you and RAISE awareness about those issues in a creative and artistic way to our community. To top that off, we are going to film everything we do and make a DOCUMENTARY and screen it at the end of the semester! This is a killer opportunity! It’s your chance for your VOICE to be heard!

Come show your support for CYH’s East students Dec. 5 from 3-5 in the Commons for their HUGE Hip-Hop show.
They are going to show you intense, crazy-amazing things they have learned these past 6 weeks. It’s going to be sick! Did I mention FREE PIZZA? Yup, there will be a ton of free pizza, raffles, and awesome giveaways! See you there!

Fall Programs in Denver Public Schools
Come and join the fun! There will be a professional hip-hop/break dance instructor, a chance to express yourself through poetry/song writing, experiment with graffiti art, listen to a professional DJ, and most of all you will have the opportunity to take all this creative energy and apply it to real life situations.

Montebello High School:
1st and 2nd period every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

East High School:
Advocacy Club - Tuesday and Thursdays after school - Room 209

Hip-Hop Program - Monday and Wednesday, Oct. 13-Dec. 3, 3-5pm.
