Did you go to the Black Arts Festival and watch our Check Your Head crew perform at the Hip-Hop stage? I hope so, because it was a show that will never be forgotten. They had two intense songs that were so freaking awesome! It was practically unreal how sick the show was! Even the audience got super into the show and danced their butts off to their songs! It was definitely a thrilling exciting experience and we are extremely proud of the gang for their incredible performance. Check out the slide show.

Check Your Head was asked to perform at West High Schools art festival April 3. We had East students come and represent us! See why we were in the spotlight! It was an incredible moment for Check Your Head!!!

Check Your Head sponsored the Tonalli’s Denver Youth Graffiti Gallery event Friday, April 18. Fifteen artists from various Denver public schools and The Wilfrey Branch Boys and Girls Club participated in this event by submitting their individual art pieces to Tonalli’s gallery. Check them out!

Since Check Your Head is about impacting not just students, but also their communities, the Back to School Party was a celebration uniting students from various schools, their families, school staff, and other community members. The party was a good time for all involved with a live deejay, free food, prize drawings, Check Your Head apparel give-aways, and live performances during the emcee and break dance battles. Most importantly, all guests were given the opportunity to learn more about prevalent mental health issues and common misconceptions. Over 70 individuals came out for an exciting afternoon to learn more about and support Check Your Head.
